Back-office settings

Typically, back-office settings include :

• choice of contributor authentication mode
• choice of user base and user groups
• definition of the workflow or content life cycle 
• the choice of services and types of content available
• definition ofstatic labels
• definition of static content filters
  
  

However, it is possible to go even further in setting up the CMS application:

• Customize the workspace by personalizing the Ribbon organization and/or choosing default open tools
• Choose icons and decorators for sitemap pages
• Define user preferences
• Overload or add translations
• Defining a new type of site

Most of the configuration work on the CMS application consists of modifying the configuration files located in the application directory.
