Alerts and reminders

Ametys manages 4 types of alerts email:

• content pending validation
• dormant content
• personalized callback (programmed or immediate)
• end of page publication

The functionality and action buttons associated with this feature will only be available if the administrator chooses to activate the "Allow content reminders" item in the administration interface:

Alerts email or reminders are sent once a day, at the time chosen by the application administrator.

Contents awaiting validation

A reminder by email is sent when content is still pending validation from X days

X is a configuration parameter. You can disable this alert for all content by entering 0 for this parameter.

The letter is sent to the content validators concerned.

Contents of mail:

Subject: [SITE] Content [CONTENT] awaiting validation
Subject:
You are receiving this message because the content "[CONTENT]" on the page "[PAGE]" on the site [SITE] has been awaiting validation for X days
To go to the content page, click on the following link [LINK].

email is sent every X days from the proposal date, until the content is validated or the alert is deactivated.

Dormant content

A reminder by email is sent when content has not been modified since X days.

X is a configuration parameter. You can disable this alert for all content by setting it to 0.

This alert can be enabled or disabled for each content item. The default setting is off.

To activate this alert on a piece of content, select the content and click on the button. Alerts and reminders (Note: if the alert is activated, the button is enabled):

In the dialog box, check the "Alert if content unmodified for X days" box to activate the alert. You can add a personalized message (optional):

email is sent every X days since the last modification, until the content is modified or the alert is deactivated.

Subject:
You are receiving this message because the content "[CONTENT]" on the page "[PAGE]" of the site [SITE] has not been modified for X days.

Personalized reminder

Immediate personalized call-back

For each piece of content, you can define a reminder that will be sent immediately to all the content's editors.

Select the content and click on the Alerts and reminders button.

In the dialog box, check "Send a reminder immediately" and enter the message content..

Personalized programmed reminder

For each content, you can program a reminder at email on a chosen date.

Select the content and click on the Alerts and reminders
When a reminder is programmed, the button is highlighted.

In the dialog box, enter the message to be added toemail :

The e-mail is sent once, on the chosen date, to all content editors.

You are receiving this message because a reminder has been scheduled for this date for the content "[CONTENT]" on the page "[PAGE]" on the site [SITE].

End of page publication

For each page on which an end-of-publication date has been programmed, an alert is sent to validators via mail . X days before this date is reached.

X is a configuration parameter. You can disable this alert for all pages by setting it to 0.

The alert is sent once.

Contents of mail:

Subject: [SITE] End of publication of the page [PAGE]
Object:
In [X] days, the page [PAGE] of the site [SITE] will no longer be published.
