News Ametys 4.4

This new version brings several new features and enhancements.
Here's an overview of what's new!

CMS

Improved display of repeaters

The display of repeaters has been redesigned in the back office:
- Improved icons for adding/moving/deleting a repeater entry
- Possibility of folding/unfolding the panel of a repeater entry

JCRThe content properties panel has evolved:
- New button for copying the Ametys or
identifier - Alphabetical sorting of referenced content
- Addition of this panel to reference tables, displaying the number of referenced contents.

Data entry improvements

The following changes have been made to facilitate back-office input:
- Ability to refresh a tab
- Improved display of search results, by grouping results using a Boolean attribute.

Search engine developments

The search engine is enhanced with :
- Addition of a parameter to display the number of results on enumerated criteria
- Addition of a "Title or full text" criterion
- Addition of "All" and "None" values when searching on an enumerated criterion

Asynchronous search export

An asynchronous search export function has been set up in CSV, XML and DOC formats.

SVG format supported

SVG images are now supported by Ametys.

Import CSV generic content

Ametys allows you to import content from a CSV or TXT file.

Search for profiled content by membership group

Ametys 4.4 enables content to be tagged by user group.
The search service has been enriched with a new criterion "Profiled by group"
, based on this new label, enabling a search on content profiled by group.

Search table with many columns

On searches containing more than 10 columns of results, it is now easier to work on the columns, i.e. :
- sort columns alphabetically
- select/unselect all in one click
- search for a column
- select a column
- display selected columns at the beginning

Default values

Two new types of default values have been added to the classic default values for attributes and parameters:
- type 'config': the default value corresponds to the value of a configuration parameter.
- type 'attribute': only for content attributes specifying a target content type: the default value corresponds to the first content whose attribute has a particular value.

Attached views

Ametys 4.4 makes it easy to define joined views.
These are useful for defining a view that refers to linked content.

Administration

Improved site display

The site table is enriched:
- addition of an icon in the site's color next to the Title
- addition of Name and Identifier columns

Centralized covers

New caches are available in the cache viewer. In addition, it is now possible to view total data for ephemeral caches, which only last for the duration of a query.

New task programmed to clear a memory cache

A new programmed task for clearing a memory cache is available.

Projects

New responsive charter

The project space charter has been revised and designed to be responsive and adaptable to all types of support (computer, tablet, mobile).

New version of the Documents module

The Documents module has been redesigned to include a number of much-awaited new features, such as
- collaborative editing
- drag-and-drop file upload
- bulk upload
- search by document type

New version of the Members module

The Members module has been redesigned with a more user-friendly interface.

Training courses

Rights allocation by catalog

It is now possible to assign rights to a training element (ELP, Formation, Parcours) by catalog.

Improving the skills-based approach

The skills acquisition table has been enriched: from now on, in the case of a skill for which there is no level, a line with a cross will appear in the table.

Display enhancements

The following improvements have been made to Ametys-ODF 4.4:
- Contact emails and phones are now clickable
- The display of a route containing only 2 semesters has been revised

Input improvements

The following points improve input into Ametys-ODF 4.4:
- Update ELP input pop-up
- Add catalog to dashboard
- Add language choice to catalog export PDF
- Add decorators to mock-up tool

Changes to reference tables

Reference tables evolve:
- The 'Order' attribute is taken into account when displaying the
site map - The 'Archived' attribute is added to archive a reference table entry.

Report generation restricted to user components

The generation of the various ODF reports is now restricted to user components.

Management of mention types by diploma

For a course, the list proposed for the "Mention" attribute depends on the type of course selected.
For this, the link between the diploma and the type of endorsement is made directly via a field in the "Diploma" reference table.

Pedagogical booklet

Ametys-ODF allows you to generate, archive and access archived learning guides for one or more courses.
This corresponds to a PDF export of the validated version of the course and its constituent ELPs.

New "Teaching hours" column in the search for ELP

The ELP back office search has been enhanced with a new "Teaching hours" column.
It is now possible to modify teaching hours values directly from this search.

Costing summary report

A new "Cost simulator summary" report is now available.
It represents an excel export of the new cost simulator tool.

Cost simulator

The cost simulator calculates the cost of a course or component, based on the number of students in each stage, and the information entered in the teaching hours.
The simulator takes mutualization into account, and provides the O/W ratio.
In order to adjust the cost of training, it is possible, directly within the tool, to modify values such as the number of teaching hours or the number of students.
