News Ametys 4.6

This new version brings several new features and enhancements.

CMS

Improved widget file upload

The widget file upload function has been improved to limit the number of clicks required by the user.

Page creation wizard: content and service filters

The page creation wizard now includes a filter to facilitate selection of the content or service to be inserted on the page.

Ametys 4.6 offers enhanced authentication.
When connecting to the front or back office, a unique temporary verification code is requested (received by mail or read via a third-party TOTP application).

OpenId Connect authentication

Ametys now supports the OpenID Connect protocol for authentication.

Intranet Charter: iCal export of a news item

The Intranet charter now includes a link for exporting news in ICS format.

Intranet Charter: integrating comments

The Intranet charter now includes content comments.
Includes all comment functions: reply, like, report, delete and the RSS feed.

Color on labels

Labels are enriched with color.

CMIS folder: directory as mount point

CMIS directory configuration now lets you define a directory as a mount point.

Import CSV : new update mode

The CSV import lets you choose the update mode:
. All content
. Only new content
. Existing content only

Invitation-based registration from the back office

The back-office allows you to send an invitation for registration to one or more people.

Inserting services at the root of the sitemap

Ametys 4.6 allows you to insert a service at the root of the sitemap to inherit it on all root pages.

New Intranet Cards charter

A new Intranet Cards charter is now available.
Its home page is made up of "cards" for each component: diary, classified ads, job offers, internal mobility, business applications, useful links, etc.
The side area on the left lets you navigate the site.

New Intranet Search charter

A new Intranet Search charter is now available.
Its home page features slides for each component: calendar, classified ads, job offers, internal mobility, business applications, links...

ReCaptcha Enterprise

Ametys 4.6 supports Google Recaptcha Enterprise.

Redesigning broken links

The broken links tool has been redesigned:
. Overhaul of content verification to improve performance
. Implementation of a search tool on results

Storage and search for the last validator

Information relating to the last validator of a content item is now stored, and can be used in searches.

The first validator and the last major validator are also available.

Data visualization

A new "Data" tool allows you to view raw data on content.

Administration

Antivirus on file upload

It is now possible to install antivirus protection on file uploads for new forms, classified ads and job offers.

Copy/Paste a rights profile

Copy/paste of a rights profile has been introduced to simplify profile rights management.

Rights: copy/paste assignments

The profile assignment tool has been enhanced to enable an assignment to be copied and applied to one or more contexts.

Gravatar optional

Use of the Gravatar site to display the profile image has been made optional.

Population-based dynamic groups

A new type of group directory is available: "User population".
This automatically generates a group for each population, made up of the users in the population.

Public registration or by invitation only

The Registration site parameter is enhanced with the "By invitation only" option.

List of active sessions

The administration tool now displays a list of active sessions.

Maintenance mode

Maintenance mode is available at Ametys.
It allows administrators to use Ametys while users are no longer able to access the front or back office, and are notified by a message.

Strong password policy

Ametys allows you to manage strong passwords by defining:
. Minimum length
. Minimum number of lowercase characters
. Minimum number of uppercase characters
. Minimum number of numeric characters
. Minimum number of special characters (with definition)

Anonymous statistics

The "Global Statistics" tool, which contained a few statistics related to websites only, has been replaced by the more general "Usage Statistics" tool.

Maintenance tasks: freeing up disk space

The administration tool features 2 new maintenance tasks (Clean History and Crumb Collector).
Using these 2 tasks saves disk space.

Traceability of user connections

Ametys 4.6 enables all user actions to be tracked (connection, creation/modification/deletion of pages or content, etc.).

Event tracing

Since version 4.6, it has been possible to track user events (connection, creation, content modification, page deletion, etc.).

Integration

Extensible data model

In order to facilitate the definition of the data model, the following elements can be modified via extension points:

. Global validators

Content rendering views provided by a graphic charter

This evolution enables graphic charters to provide their own content type rendering views, without needing to overload the template, and relying on existing template views.

Projects

Administration: New statistics screen

Access your project space statistics (file size, last activity date, active modules, etc.) from the administration interface.

Event and task ICS export

It is now possible to export in ICS format:
. a calendar event
. a task (if it has a due date).

Activity flow: Asynchronous loading and notifications

The activity flow has become asynchronous, to increase page load time performance.
A red dot indicates the presence of new notifications.

Integrating images into e-mails

Images are now integrated into activity summary e-mails.

Tasks module: section icons and colors

The Tasks module now lets you assign an icon and a color to each section

Files module: word/ppt/excel document creation

Three new entries have been added to the "New" menu in the Files module:
- Word document
- Excel spreadsheet
- PowerPoint presentation

Files module: moving files and folders

Files and folders can now be moved, either by drag and drop or via a "Move" menu.

The Files module now supports folder description.

Tasks module: drag&drop sections

Reorganize sections with drag-and-drop ease

Tasks module: edit and drag&drop checklist items

Task checklist items can now:
. be modified
. be moved by drag and drop

New notifications

The following notifications have been added:
. Publication of a brief
. Add a comment to a brief, a news item or a file.

Favorite projects and ignore notifications

From the project space catalog, you can:
. select a project as a favorite
. pause project notifications

Training courses

Improvements to the PDF training catalog

The PDF training catalog is enriched with the following options:
- Generate from parameters or from a saved query
- Select several components or several degrees
- Include courses
- Add bookmarks for easier navigation

Improvements to the Pegasus connector

Several improvements have been made to the Pégase import tool, including:
- the addition of search criteria
- the implementation of sorting on the results table

Course catalog

The pedagogical booklet has become the course catalog, and has been extended to include courses, itineraries, containers and ELPs.
The course catalog is made up of the element's PDF and the PDF units of the courses that make it up.
Several changes have been made to PDF to improve its usability (links to itineraries, ELPs, improved bookmarks, etc.).
