A content comparison tool is available in the "Content" tab under the History menu.
It is possible to :
- compare with previous version
- compare with the latest validated version.
These buttons are also available when viewing a content version from the "History" menu:
The result of a content comparison is :
- a headband
- a field-by-field comparison table.
The banner at the top of the tool displays :
- Versions compared by the tool (with the option of modifying compared versions)
- The view displayed (with the option of modifying the view)
This button displays only modified fields in the comparison table.
The comparison table shows the precise differences for each field.
In the example below, the left-hand column contains all the data for version 7 of the content, while the right-hand column contains all the data for version 8 of the same content.
The following color code is applied:
- red for deletion
- green for a novelty
- blue for modifications (e.g. repeaters)
- gray if no change
