The Comment Feed tool displays a comment feed for each piece of content, enabling contributors to the same piece of content to interact and send messages to each other.
The Comment Feed button is located in the Tools group.
The Comment Feed appears in the right-hand sidebar.
Comment feed is activated. A yellow band indicates which content the comment feed is assigned to.
This tool is linked to the "Participate in comment threads" right available in the Content group.
The Add comment field allows you to create a comment which will then be displayed below this field. Simply type the desired comment and click on the little send arrow.
Each comment contains the following information:
- Name and Avatar
- Comment date
- Comment time
Please note that it is not possible to delete a comment.
It is possible to mention a specific person in the comment thread.
To do this, type "@" followed by the first two letters of the surname or first name and select from the list displayed.
The person mentioned is highlighted in blue in the commentary.
She will receive an e-mail notification to inform her that she has been mentioned in the comment thread.
From version 4.9
If the person does not have access to the comment thread, he or she is highlighted in red.
The tooltip, displayed when hovering over the name, lets you know why.
Example: The user does not have access to the comment thread.
Despite the mention, she will not receive an mail.
You can be notified as soon as a comment is added to the comment feed.

Once this right has been activated, each comment will be notified by mail.
