This chapter deals with setting up the back-office application (CMS) and the front-office application (site).
Back-office and front-office application parameterization consists of customizing the application according to your needs and the information system in place.
A large part of the configuration only concerns the back-office application or CMS, which is the contributing application. The front-office application, on the other hand, is a much lighter application requiring very little configuration.
Most parameterization is carried out via parameter files in the WEB-INF/param of the application. The CMS application has many parameter files, while the site application generally has only two.
Visit file runtime.xml is present in both applications. It includes a choice of single extension points.
