Getting started with Ametys

Ametys is an open source web content management platform that lets you create, feed and manage your websites.

Ametys embeds two components:

  • the back office is the site's black box, the part that enables site administration, management and editing.
  • the front office, the visible part of the website accessible to all visitors

This chapter guides you, step by step, through the installation and discovery of the Ametys universe.
