Maintenance tasks: freeing up disk space

Two new maintenance tasks are available in the "Repository" tab of the administration tool. 

These maintenance tasks can be carried out without stopping the application. 

• Clear history: Clears the history of nodes deleted from the repository. 

When a JCR node is deleted, its history remains, making it impossible to recover previous versions. 

By deleting obsolete histories, then using the crumb tray, disk space can be saved. 

• Crumb picker: Trigger the crumb picker on the repository 

You must be in safe mode to perform this maintenance task.
