Event calendar service (search) (v2.10.0+)


Starting with version 2.10.0!

From version 2.10.0 onwards, use the"Events Calendar" service in the "Search" category to display your events, news, ... or external calendar as a calendar.

This service is based on a search engine and allows you to :

  • filter by theme
  • export iCal
  • display external ics feeds

Add service

Select a site page and a zone of your choice. Go to the "Add a service" menu and click on "Events calendar" in the "Search" category.

By default, the service offers 2 views:

  • A small calendar
  • A full-page agenda (fullcalendar)

Small calendar

In this view, the service displays a small calendar. Days with news/events are highlighted and clickable.

Clicking on a day displays the day's events/news.

Events are loaded in Ajax each time the month changes

Choice of content types to be displayed in the calendar.

The content types available here are those with a "start-date" attribute.

Event category

Select the label category that will be used to create the labels for a "Thematic" filter. The filter is optional.

Research context (2)

Enter 1 to n search contexts.

Criteria (3)

Search criteria may or may not be selected by the user.
Please note: criteria are not applied to external ICS events.
Criteria should not be used when external ICS events are inserted in the calendar.

 

Remote calendars (3)

You can insert external events into the calendar via ICS links.

Enter the ICS link(s) of your external events.
You can associate each of your ICS with a label.

Be careful to choose from the labels of the event category selected in step 1.

Full-page calendar (Fullcalendar)

Calendar height

Calendar height in pixels. Leave blank or 0 for natural height without scroll bar

Default calendar view

Select the view (month, week, day, schedule) to be used for calendar initialization.

Calendar view in mobile mode

Select the calendar view to impose when the screen is smaller than 768px.
Leave empty if you don't want to force a change of view according to screen width.

Available views

Select the views that will be available via the calendar toolbar, allowing you to switch the calendar to either view.
Leave blank to impose view

Forcing the whole day

Check the box to force events to be displayed for the whole day, even for events defined for a specific time slot.

Include weekends

Check the box to include Saturday/Sunday columns in calendar views

Export iCalendar

Check the box to enable export of calendar events in iCal format

Reading rights
