Model differential ratio

This tool is available from version 4.9 onwards.

This tool is associated with the right to "Generate the differential report on models", available in the "Training offer - Steering" category.

The tool Model differential ratio allows you to compare layouts between two catalogs, in Word or Excel format.

 

Generate a differential mock-up report

From the Steering tab

Clicking on the button opens a pop-up window for the user to enter the required information.

Select from the drop-down list the component on which the report is to be run.

If you do not select a component, the report will be run on all components.

Select the old catalog on which the comparison is based

Select the language for content included in the report.

Select report output format: Word (doc) - default - or Excel (xls)

Click on OK to confirm.
A new pop-up will open to confirm your choice to run the MCC differential report.

Click on Yes to start the report

From the Component tab

When the button is clicked, a pop-up window opens, allowing the user to enter the required information (each parameter is detailed above).

Find the generated report

From the Steering tab, click on the search button in the search criteria to display the mock-up differential report.

To download the report, double-click on it or go to the Steering tab and click on the Download report button.

The downloaded report is in zip format and contains comparison files for each course.

Results

The color code for the result is : 

  • For a modified value : 
    • In striped light grey, the value used in the old catalog.
    • In blue , the value modified in the new catalog
  • For a deleted value: red and crossed out (present in the old catalog and absent from the new catalog).
  • For added value: green and underlined (absent in the old catalog and present in the new catalog).
