Creating a standard


Norms are used to calculate the theoretical number of student groups created in the Reference Tables tool.

  1. Creation of a standard in the reference table Standard :

Creation of a standard in the reference table Standard :

  1. Access the tool from the Training coursesbutton Reference tables and select the reference table from the drop-down list Standard.


  2. Click on the New from the Reference tables


  3. Enter the wording of the new standard

  4. Click on save to save your label

  5. Select your standard and click on the Modify content 

  6. Fill in the various fields to create your standard:

    Group headcount is an unlimited series of field groups for group creation.
    Use the buttons on the right to reorder, add or delete group memberships.

    Type of teaching

    Select the type of teaching from the drop-down list, e.g. lecture, tutorial, practical. This list is defined in the Teaching type reference table.

    Maximum number of employees

    Enter the maximum number of students for a group

    Additional minimum headcount

    Enter the number of additional students required to create another group

  7. Register the standard

Create a standard in the teaching type reference table 

  1. Access the reference table tool from the Training coursesbutton Reference tables and in the drop-down list choose the table Nature of teaching.

  2. Click on the New from the Reference tables to create a new table.

  3. Enter the name of the new table element

  4. Click on save to save your label

  5. Select your element and click on the Modify content 


  6. Fill in the various fields to create your standard
