This page explains how to move Content or a Service.
Ametys makes a difference between Content and Page.
Content is, for example, an Article, a News item... There can be several contents/services per page and/or per zone.
A page is generally a container, containing contents/services. A page has an Internet address.
Certain zones may be limited in the types of content or services they can accommodate. The creation of unauthorized content or services in such zones will not be possible. The same applies to the various movements described below.
A contributor wants to move content or a service between two zones on the same page.
The simplest solution is to use the "drag & drop" technique.
Click on the content or service, and while holding the click, drag the content into the desired area, or before/after another content in the same area.
Example of displacement before first content:

After validation, the content is inserted in the selected zone.

If the content doesn't have a reference to another page, a pop-up warns that the content will be orphaned and asks if you wish to delete it permanently.
If you don't delete it, the content will remain available in the content database, but will not be displayed on any page.
Orphaned content can be searched using the Archive searchlocated in the Home
