Reference tables allow users to keep track of the various references ofODF fields.

When editing content ODF, references are displayed in a drop-down list associated with fields bearing the same name as a reference table. Example of a drop-down list:

Reference tables are defined by Ametys at the start of the project.

  1. Creating an element in a reference table
  2. Modifying an element in a reference table
  3. Deleting an element from a reference table

Creating an element in a reference table

  1. In the Training coursesclick on the Reference tables



    Clicking on the button displays a drop-down list of the various tables linked to theODF
  2. Select a reference table to insert a new element.

     

For find quickly a reference table, several tools are available: 
1 - Filter : Only reference tables whose name matches the filter are displayed.
2 - List view : Entries can be displayed in list form.
3 - Categories :
Categories can be displayed or not. If categories are not displayed, all reference tables are grouped together in a single category. 

In the example below, the reference tables are : 
1 - Filtered by the "Dis" filter
2 - Listed
3 - Categories are displayed

  1. Click on the New from the Reference tables

  1. Enter the name of the new element in the reference table



    Tip: If you have configured your Ametys with several languages, you can access the different languages by clicking on the button to the right of the label 

    This opens an additional dialog box:
  2. Click on save to save your label

Modifying an element in a reference table

  1. In the Training coursesclick on the Reference tables


  2. Select a reference table to modify an element.

  3. Find the item you want to modify in the list and click on it to edit it.

  4. Click on save to save your changes

Deleting an element from a reference table

  1. In the Training coursesclick on the Reference tables

  2. Select a reference table to modify an element.

  3. Select an item in the list and then click on the Delete
