Some training courses or elements are used for calculation purposes (e.g. MCC, cost simulator), and do not need to be published.
To do this, you can exclude an element from the layout from publication. The element's sub-tree is then automatically excluded when the layout is published. The validation button is grayed out when an element is excluded from publication. During global validation, elements excluded from publication are not validated.
A shared element excluded from publication by its parent can still be validated if one of its other direct parents is published.
This operation runs in the background, and a notification bubble warns the user when it has finished.
A new indicator is available to display items excluded from publication on the model:
