Introduction

Mutualization of pedagogical elements (courses, UE, EC, etc.) enables us to define whether a pedagogical element can be shared (mutualized) with other courses, and under what criteria.

The mutualizability of a teaching element and its mutualization criteria can be defined at any point in its lifecycle.

Mutualization fields are used to define mutualization criteria:

By diploma type(s)

List of diploma types (Bachelor's, Master's, DU, etc.) for which this pedagogical element can be shared.

By course(s)

List of courses for which this pedagogical element can be shared.

Per semester(s)

List of semesters (Semester 1, Semester 2, ...) for which this teaching element can be shared.

By component(s)

List of components for which this pedagogical element can be shared.

The pedagogical element can only be attached to a course if this course belongs to one of the components on this list.

There are 3 possible statuses for shared teaching elements:

  • Non-mutualizable, including "refused" status
  • Proposed areas of pooling
  • Validated mutualization fields

To be eligible for mutualization, a pedagogical element must be open to mutualization and its mutualization criteria must be validated.
Otherwise, it cannot be attached to any other course.

Modification of mutualization fields

Select ELP and click on"Modify mutualization fields" in the "Mutualization" group to modify the mutualization fields.

You can then modify the pooling criteria:

Mutualization status

In the Teaching element tab, the mutualization status is represented by 3 buttons:

Non-mutualizable" status

The pedagogical element cannot be pooled. It cannot therefore be attached to another course.

From this state, it is possible to :

  • Propose mutualization fields if you have the right to do so: Propose pooling fields
A mail will be sent to all those who have the right to be notified of changes to the pooling of pedagogical elements.
  • Validate mutualization fields if you have the right to do so: Validate mutualization fields

Pending decision" status

The fields of mutualization for the pedagogical element are proposed. It is therefore necessary to wait for validation before the learning element can be attached to a course.

From this state, it is possible to :

  • Validate sharing fields if you have the right to do so: Validate mutualization fields
A mail will be sent to the person who proposed the mutualization fields (if this was the case).
  • Refuse mutualization fields if you have the right to do so: Refuse mutualization fields
A dialog box allows you to specify the reason for refusal.
A mail will be sent to the person who proposed the sharing fields (if this was the case).

Authorized" status

The fields of mutualization of the teaching element are validated. The pedagogical element can therefore be attached to a course according to its fields of mutualization.

It is always possible to return to "non-mutualizable" status by refusing a previously authorized ELP .

Search for poolable ELPs

A search engine dedicated to poolable pedagogical elements is accessible from the "Training offer" tab, under the "Search ELP" menu.

The search tool allows you to search by status or mutualization field
