This feature activates an experimental mode which may compromise data integrity, and cancels Ametys ODF software maintenance. Experimental mode support is excluded from normal maintenance contracts.
Macro-skills and their associated micro-skills can be deleted at any time.
Deleting a cross-functional macro-skill from a course does not permanently delete the cross-functional macro-skill. It is detached from the course, but remains available in the macro-skills management tool.
Open a course, then click on the Competency-based approach tab.
In the Cross-cutting skills field, click on the cross next to the skill (orange box).
Macro-skills have been removed from the training program, but they still exist.
Deleting a macro-skill linked to a training course removes it permanently.
The removal of a macro-skill implies the removal of its related micro-skills.
Deleting a course automatically deletes the macro-skills linked to that course (non-transversal) as well as the micro-skills linked to it.
Click on a course then Modify content
Click on the Competency-based approaches tab
Click on the cross (orange box) of the skill to delete it.
From the skills management tool, only cross-functional macro-skills can be deleted.
To delete a skill linked to a course, it must be deleted from the course.
When a macro-skill (cross-functional or otherwise) is already referenced in a content item, it cannot be deleted from the Macro-skills management tool.

To find out which courses are attached to a macro-skill, you can use the Properties tool: 
Open the Training offer tab, click on the Skills button and then on the Macro-skills management button.
Select the cross-functional macro-skill to be deleted
The selected macro-skill will be permanently deleted.
Click on the Delete button
Deleting a micro-skill removes it permanently.
Open the Macro-skills management tool
Select the desired macro-skill, then click on Modify content.

The macro-skills window opens with a Micro-skills field.

To delete, click on the cross next to the micro-skill, then Save.

It is also possible to delete micro-skills by deleting the parent macro-skill.
