This feature activates an experimental mode which may compromise data integrity, and cancels Ametys ODF software maintenance. Experimental mode support is excluded from normal maintenance contracts.
Macro-skills fall into two categories:
The Macroskills Management button, located in the Training Offer ribbon, opens a search window.

It is divided into two parts: a research section and a results section.

It consists of several fields to be filled in, depending on the desired search:

Click on New macro-skill, Skills group , Skills tab

For example, the creation of a new macro-competence for the History-Geography Licence:

Within a training program, in Modification, cross-disciplinary skills already created can be added in two ways.
Click on the Competency-based approach button .
The Cross-disciplinary skills field is dedicated to macro-skills that are not linked to a specific course.

Add by drop-down list
Click on the drop-down list in the Cross-cutting skills field to display the available cross-cutting macro-skills.

Select a macro-skill. If more than one macro-skill is required, select them one by one.

To delete a macro-skill from the Cross-Skills field, click on the cross.
Add by content search
Click on the Magnifier button

Searches can be made using several fields: Label, Skill code or Catalog.
For example, a search with the skill code "BCT-E".

Click on Next
Select the macro-skill and click on Ok


On a course undergoing modification, select the Skills-based approach
The Skills field is dedicated to macro-skills linked to a training program. They are considered to be non-transversal macro-skills.
Click on the "+" button (orange box) to open the macro-skill creation window.

Once a macro-skill has been created, it is automatically added to the list of Training Skills :
