In your XSL search services, you've probably overloaded the top-search-input-autocomplete template. This template has recently been modified to correct various problems with labels, and redesigned to make it easier to overload and more flexible to use.
If you've overloaded this template to remove autocomplete on skills, now simply overload the autocomplete-header-2 and autocomplete-body-2 templates empty to remove this effect. Other modifications are also possible with cutting.
However, if you want to keep your top-search-input-autocomplete template in your charter, it's advisable to stick as closely as possible to the odf charter version.
