Home page composition
The Home page template (index) of a project site is made up of a banner and 5 zones:
- a main zone in the center
- 3 side zones on left
- 2 side zones on right
The header
The header of a project site is made up of the following elements:
- The theme of the project, associated with its color
- Project keywords
- Project title
- Project description
- Active sections and modules
Zone contents
A project's home page is automatically created and configured on the model defined by the conf/project-home-model.xml file in the "Project" charter.
By default, this file breaks down the home page of a project space as follows:
- the 1st zone on the left (left-top) hosts the content type search service "Alertwith a maximum of 1 result

Find out more about project news - the 3rd zone on the left (left-bottom) hosts the service "Project members in a "summary" view
- The main area will be filled automatically by a news search service if the "Exchange wall " module is active.
Find out more about the exchange wall. - The 1st zone on the right-hand side is designed to accommodate a mini-probe
This zone is not automatically filled. - The 2nd right-bottom zone houses the service department "Project suggestion
These are projects on the same theme OR with keywords in common with the current project, with public or moderated registration, for which the current user is not already a member, and sorted by category then common keywords.
The maximum number of projects displayed is a service parameter. The default is 6.
