The purpose of this chapter is to describe the charters, templates and functionalities of the Workspaces charter used for project spaces.
You'll also find integration tips for customizing this chart.
Charters
jar "ametys-skin-workspaces" provides 3 graphic charts:
- Project spaces (workspace) this is an abstract charter that contains the resources and style sheets common to the 2 charters below. It should not be used directly.
- Catalog des espaces projets (workspace-catalogue): this is the charter for the Catalogue site. It inherits the Project Spaces charter.
- Project (workspace-project): this is the charter for project sites. It inherits the workspace-project charter.
Charte Espaces projets
This charter is an abstract charter that contains the resources and style sheets common to the 2 charters below. It should not be used directly.
It is inherited from the Catalog des espaces projets and Projet charters.
It has a single "login" template common to both charters, which is the template used for login and logout pages.
Charte Catalogue des espaces projets
This charter is to be used for the catalog site only.
It has 5 templates:
- a Home (index) template for the home page of project areas.
This template has 2 zones: a header zone for the catalog news carousel, and a main zone for displaying the list of existing projects. - a Page template consisting of a single main zone, for news and other editorial pages on the catalog site
- a search-page template consisting of a single main zone, to house the cross-functional search service.
- a profile page template (user-page) used for directory pages (user file)
- a public-page template used for public-access pages, such as the registration or password modification page.
Project Charter
This charter is to be used for project sites only.
It has 4 templates:
- a Home template (index) for the home page of a project space.
This template has several zones:- a main area for the exchange wall
- right-hand zones for alerts, news carousel, project members
- areas on the left for surveys, project suggestions, etc.
- a Page template consisting of a single main area for news, alerts and other editorial project pages
- a Project template consisting of a single main area, used by each module (Files, Calendar, Tasks, etc.)
- a Wiki template (project-wiki) consisting of a single main area, used for pages in the "wiki" part of a project area
